Bob Jungel's Bio
Bob has always been interested in music, whether back in grade school singing in district choir, or in middle school singing in concert choir. There always seemed to be sheet music in front of him in his early years.
There was a time however that music was put on hold to deal with numerous changes taking place in Bob’s life. Some of these changes were school, sports, jobs, marriage and children. The most important piece of the puzzle that was missing in his life however, was a solid relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bob began his journey with the Lord after Paula, his wife, invited him to worship at Love Of Christ Church. There, Bob, Paula, and their three children, Ashley, Briana, and Christopher found a renewed relationship with Christ. A short time later, the Lord opened up numerous avenues for Bob to use his gift of singing once again. First, it was in the church choir, then leading the music for church services, and then singing in the church praise band.
Now Bob uses his wonderful bass voice to anchor the Gone Fishin’ Southern Gospel Group. Bob shares his warmth and charm with everyone around him, and the audience loves his presence on stage. The group is never sure what Bob is up to some times, as he likes to surprise them not only during rehearsals, but in concert as well. He definitely is a wonderful man of God!!
When not singing with Gone Fishin’, Bob also enjoys being a volunteer firefighter in his local community. His spare time is spent with his family, fishing, hiking, hunting, and then there are the numerous activities taking place at church. His most recent gift from God is becoming a grandfather for the first time, and grandpa is patiently waiting for his grandson to be old enough to watch the Minnesota Vikings with him.
